SC Super auction location anoucement anyone?

Posted by Brian under NC-Coin-Op,
On there site states 1000 games late march but no location. I'm
thinking some of the MB
Pavillion games will be there. They still haven't anounced location
and I was thinking of booking a room for a trip. Any clues?

The only way you get screwed is if you don't factor that stuff into your
bidding. As long as you *know*...
That said, I've never understood a buyers premium on home buyers. Doesn't
make much business sense to me. *shrug* The complainers are the operators
who want to buy "wholesale" at the auction. But it is an auction, nothing

Did anyone happen to pick up any empty (or soon to be empty) 4 player midway
cabinets for a reasonable price?
I'm looking for a cab for my Shadows Over Mystara game.

It's all about how you look at it. It's not like they spring the fees
on you as a surprise. I factor the fees into my costs and I still think
it's worth it. Somebody show me another (semi) local place I can shop
for classic vids at those prices (even with buyer's fees).
I have stocked my arcade with many auction buys and don't feel screwed

This doesn't make any sense-
If they don't charge a commission on items sold to 'in-the-business'
dealers, and they also don't collect tax on those dealings, then
they're only making the $20 listing fee per item?
I don't think so.
When they start auctioning off the big money games on the back wall

Hey Brian,
Lizard Lick can help out with a new coin door, I don't have the frames
though, so it will have to fit your existing one. I'll look around and
see if I can find a blank for the bottom too...

Auction buys: Toobin and Centipede cabaret (mini) with pics

I posted pics of the two vids I got at the auction here:

The mini Centipede and the Toobin just BARELY fit in the minivan. I
don't think I could find two other games that fit that snugly.
The Toobin will not coin up but works otherwise. The switches (and

I wasn't there, so I can't say, but I have one of these. It's a neat
machine that you'd personally get tired of pretty fast, but is great when
you have guests and small kids *really* love it. They are pretty rare to
find, but when you do they usually sell for $100-200 less than a comparable
Slugfest. So a decent one can be had for $1000 or less, sometimes as little
