I'm planning on going and bringing a few items. We'll see what the
turnout looks like--sounds like it will be a buyer's market....

I'm going to miss it, unfortunately. Hate to miss the last auction of
the year--especially when reports seem to indicate that the Baltimore
auction last week was a real buyer's market--but I just can't go.

The best way to get what you want out of a MAME machine is to build
your own. That way you have control of the button layout, artwork,
installed games, and shape of cabinet. If you decide to go that path I
can list several usefull resources.

I'm looking for a (mostly) complete MAME machine in the Raleigh area.
Preferably something that looks like a 1980's machine, with one joystick and
a couple of buttons. Perhaps a trackball. Nothing so grandiose as the
monster panels I've seen in some of the prefab MAME cabinets.
If you have one for sale or have any suggestions, please email me.

I was going through some pinball stuff and came across a couple of
backglasses that I forgot about. They were part of a bulk purchase a
few years back, and have been in storage since. They are for :
1982 Bally Rapid Fire
1987 Williams Space Station
They look to be in good condition. I don't want to try eBay and hassle

Pachinko Machine: Free to a Good Home

A friend of mine gave me a pachinko machine last week. Seems to be
complete--power supply is included but not attached. Also has a box of
balls. My friend told me he had it for over 20 years and never used it.
I don't know enough about these things to even attempt attaching the
power supply. Thought I'd take it off his hands as a project, but I
